Quantum Maintenance Facilities: Quantum equipment incorporates field-proven, state-of-the-art technology to accomplish drilling objectives on time and on budget. Our motors are specifically engineered for the wide range of conditions found in the oil and gas drilling industry and offer a superior level of performance.
Quantum has modern, custom-designed manufacture, repair and maintenance facilities. Quantum facilities are strategically located to ensure shorter turn-around times. These state-of-the-art centers are staffed by skilled assembly technicians to provide superior product quality.
Service Training: Quantum service technicians are provided on-going classroom, shop or field training to ensure our tools are operating at peak efficiency.
Engineering Support: Quantum employs highly competent technical and operational experts able to meet the most complex challenges to the industry. From in-house engineering support, through high tech well planning, to delivery of the end-of-well report, we help our customers avoid problems and maintain higher drilling efficiency. Quantum also provides its clients a technical manual, which explains the motor components, motor selection and servicing methods for particular applications, operation planning techniques, trouble shooting solutions, drilling fluids and hydraulics, performance data, selected equations and shock absorbers.
Quality Assurance: To ensure our system tools meet our clients’ needs, as well as government regulations and industry standards, Quantum adheres to strict quality assurance processes.
Inspection and Acceptance: At the end of a run, each tool is visibly, mechanically and NDT (Non Destructive Testing) inspected by a certified magnetic particle operator. Damaged and/or worn parts are replaced before returned to service. The tool is then reassembled with Quantum’s “hydraulic breakout machine” at precise torque values to ensure proper tool designed performance. Service records are recorded by a computerized filing system along with hard copy back-ups.
